🌊 No one should ever be caught off guard by a flood. That's the vision behind the United Nations Early Warnings For All - ensuring life-saving warnings reach everyone, everywhere.

⚠️And yet, floods claim between 5,000 and 10,000 lives every year—that's about 20 people every single day. As highlighted in the State Of Climate report, climate change is fueling more extreme weather, and this number is expected to rise.

🗣️ At the launch of the "Stories on Water" series, I emphasized the critical role of hydrology in strengthening flood forecasting and delivering timely warnings.

The message is clear:
